Brouwerij Boon (Boon Brewery) is a Belgian brewery situated in Lembeek, near Brussels. Since
1975, Boon Brewery has been owned and run by Frank Boon, one of the pioneers of the
authentic lambic and geuze revival. However, the first signs of the brewery date back to 1680, as
a farm-brewery and distillery in the village of Lembeek.
Since 1997 all traditional lambics are protected under Belgian and European law. Under this law
the word ‘oude’ meaning old style is reserved strictly for 100% spontaneous fermented beer.
Boon beers are wild yeast fermented, there are no artificial flavours, preservatives or colourings.
